They were a sweet couple from Chicago. He adored her and it was obvious she was more than ready to say “I do”. They opted for an intimate, personal ceremony at the Goldmoor Inn in Galena, Il. The place was perfect. Intimate, elegant, welcoming; everything the bride and groom could have asked for. They wrote their own heartfelt vows. It was the first wedding I have shot were the groom teared up during the vows… it was sweet. The ceremony was followed by outdoor photos and a lovely little reception. I enjoyed the reception most. It was a very personal reception filled with family and very close friends. Everyone there was so happy these two were tying the knot. It was the beautiful day <3

I think what really made this wedding was the never ending amount of smiles and candid moments. Looking through the pictures there really isn’t a single shot of the bride and groom without ear to ear grins. Needless to say they made my job more enjoyable and gave me the opportunity to take some great candid photos.

Either way these two were total sweethearts and I was so happy to be such a big part of their special day. I hope nothing but the best for them and hope they love their photos as much as I loved taking them <3
